DAY 1: DOI SUTHEP, SAN KAMPHAENG HOT SPRINGS AND KHANTOKE DINNER

• Pick up from your hotel in Chiang Mai

• Visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, Chiang Mai’s famous mountain temple

• Lunch at a local restaurant

• Stop at one selected working handicraft centre, such as a Thai silk-weaving or silverware workshop, depending on current operations and availability

• Continue to San Kamphaeng Hot Springs

• Relax and enjoy a mineral bath or swimming activity according to the selected program

• Shower and change clothes at the hot springs

• Travel directly to the Khantoke dinner venue

• Enjoy an included traditional Khantoke dinner with a Lanna cultural performance

• Return to your hotel in Chiang Mai

DAY 2: DOI INTHANON AND CHIANG MAI NIGHT SAFARI

• Pick up from your hotel

• Travel to Doi Inthanon National Park, home to the highest mountain in Thailand

• Visit the King and Queen Pagodas

• Lunch at a local restaurant

• Visit Wachirathan Waterfall

• Stop at a local hilltribe market

• Return to Chiang Mai

DAY 3: ELEPHANT AND NATURE EXPERIENCE

• Visit an orchid and butterfly farm

• Watch an elephant show

• Return to your hotel in Chiang Mai

DAY 4: CHIANG MAI TO CHIANG RAI

• Pick up from your hotel and travel to Chiang Rai

• Make a sightseeing and rest stop at Mae Kachan Hot Spring

• Visit Wat Rong Khun, also known as the White Temple

• Lunch at a local restaurant

• Visit Wat Phra Kaew in Chiang Rai

• Transfer to your independently booked hotel in Chiang Rai

• Free time in the evening to relax or explore Chiang Rai Night Bazaar

DAY 5: CHIANG RAI, THE GOLDEN TRIANGLE AND THE MEKONG RIVER

• Pick up from your hotel

• Visit Baan Dam Museum, also known as the Black House

• Visit Mae Sai and the northernmost point of Thailand near the Thailand–Myanmar border

• Continue to the Golden Triangle, where Thailand, Laos and Myanmar meet

• Lunch at a local restaurant

• Take a scenic boat trip on the Mekong River

• Return to Chiang Mai or transfer to Chiang Rai Airport for your flight to Bangkok, according to the agreed travel plan

Guests arrange and book their own accommodation. We are happy to recommend suitable hotel areas and answer questions about hotels that fit the itinerary, but accommodation costs are not included in the tour price.

WHAT TO BRING ON DAY 1:

Please bring swimwear, a change of clothes, a towel and a bag for wet clothing. After visiting San Kamphaeng Hot Springs, guests will shower and change there before travelling directly to the Khantoke dinner venue.

The private tour price is calculated according to the number of guests. The per-person rate is generally lower for larger groups. Please provide your travel dates and number of guests to receive an accurate quotation.
