This three-day Chiang Mai accessible journey combines Doi Suthep Temple, important temples in Chiang Mai Old City, a meaningful elephant care experience, an orchid farm, traditional Lanna culture and the mountain scenery of Doi Inthanon National Park.
Each day is planned at a comfortable pace with time for personal preparation, meals, rest and wheelchair assistance.
Starting times, walking distances, rest periods and time spent at each location can be adjusted according to each guest’s confirmed mobility, comfort and energy level.
Transportation is provided by Authentic Thai Tours using our wheelchair-accessible van equipped with a hydraulic lift.
DAY 1 — DOI SUTHEP AND CHIANG MAI CULTURE

Guests who need to remain seated in their wheelchair during transportation can board our wheelchair-accessible van using the hydraulic lift.

WAT PHRA THAT DOI SUTHEP
Travel up Doi Suthep Mountain to visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, one of Chiang Mai’s most important cultural and religious landmarks.
Enjoy the temple surroundings and views of Chiang Mai at a comfortable pace.
Some areas of the temple have steps, slopes or uneven surfaces. We will select the most suitable route and accessible areas according to the guest’s mobility.

Enjoy lunch at a suitable local restaurant and take time to rest before continuing the tour.

WAT CHEDI LUANG
Visit Wat Chedi Luang, one of the best-known historic temples in Chiang Mai Old City.
Discover the temple’s impressive ancient chedi and learn about its importance to Chiang Mai’s history and Lanna culture.
Accessibility may vary between different areas of the temple. We will select a suitable route according to the guest’s mobility.
WAT PHRA SINGH
Continue to Wat Phra Singh, an important temple known for its traditional Lanna architecture and cultural significance.
Explore suitable areas of the temple at a relaxed pace.
If the guest needs additional rest, the Old City temple program can be shortened to one temple.

DAY 2 — ELEPHANT CARE, ORCHID FARM AND KHANTOKE DINNER

Pick-up from your hotel in Chiang Mai and travel to a suitable elephant care location at a comfortable pace.
Rest stops can be arranged during the journey when needed.
ELEPHANT CARE EXPERIENCE
Meet the local staff and learn about the elephants, their food, daily life and care.
Enjoy the opportunity to feed the elephants under the guidance and supervision of the local staff.
Take memorable photographs with the elephants from a suitable and safe location.
The activities, viewing areas and level of participation will be adjusted according to accessibility, the elephants’ natural behavior, safety conditions and the guest’s mobility and comfort.
This program focuses on learning, supervised feeding and observing the elephants.
Elephant riding is not included.
LUNCH

On the return journey to Chiang Mai, visit a local orchid farm.

EVENING — KHANTOKE DINNER AND LANNA CULTURAL SHOW
Travel by private wheelchair-accessible van to enjoy a traditional Northern Thai Khantoke dinner accompanied by Lanna cultural performances, traditional music and dancing.
The Khantoke dinner, cultural show, reservation and private transportation to and from the venue are included in the tour price.

DAY 3 — EASY DOI INTHANON EXPERIENCE
